Pars University Theatre and Performing Arts Association

The Theatre and Performing Arts Association of Pars University of Architecture and Art was established in 2022 (1401 in the Persian calendar) to support the participation and engagement of students interested in the practical, theoretical, research, and performance-based aspects of theatre and performing arts. The association operates within the framework and regulations outlined in its official charter.

Scope of Activities and General Objectives:

1. Enhance the cultural level of the university through theatre and increase student awareness about theatre and performing arts
2. Create a platform for student participation, teamwork, and cultural engagement
3. Institutionalize and give direction to student-led cultural activities
4. Organize practical and theoretical workshops in various branches of theatre and performing arts
5. Promote the association’s activities and foster student participation at the university, city, national, and international levels
6. Utilize academic and extracurricular resources to foster interdisciplinary approaches in the performing arts
7. Revive and preserve authentic and traditional Iranian performance arts and folklore to prevent cultural loss
8. Host festivals and repertory events
9. Hold academic meetings and discussions
