Photography Club

The Photography Club of Pars University has been established to nurture photographic creativity, support and guide its members, and promote a modern approach to photography that moves beyond conventional clichés. All activities are carried out in accordance with the university’s official regulations.

Objectives:

1. Provide general education to enhance perspectives on photography in both artistic and practical dimensions, focusing on both technical and theoretical aspects.
2. Collaborate and consult with photography-related organizations, institutions, and associations—whether governmental, non-governmental, national, or international—that align with the club’s goals.
3. Conduct research and studies on historical and contemporary photography.
4. Organize photography competitions to improve the artistic quality among club members.
5. Create opportunities for individuals to develop awareness, insight, and necessary photography skills.
6. Introduce reputable books, publications, and photography classes to club members.
7. Elevate the understanding of photography as a media tool in service of other arts.

Type of Activity:

All activities of the club are non-political and will be conducted in strict adherence to the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the official regulations of the Pars Institute of Higher Education for Architecture and Art.

Responsibilities:

To achieve its goals, the club undertakes the following responsibilities:

• Organizing sessions, seminars, and educational workshops
• Hosting photography field trips
• Holding film screening sessions
• Inviting photography veterans and experts to conduct classes and lectures
• Collecting the works of prominent Iranian and international photographers to create a valuable collection for study and inspiration
• Compiling translated articles and books on photography
