Environmental Association

The Environmental Association has been established to address diverse environmental needs, nurture environmental creativity, and organize the self-motivated efforts of students. It supports and guides such initiatives to align with Islamic values, enhance collective cooperation, and promote a culture of participation. The association operates in accordance with the university’s regulations and bylaws.

Objectives:

• Provide public education to raise awareness of environmental culture.
• Preserve, expand, and improve the quality of the environment.
• Collaborate and exchange ideas with organizations, associations, and other scientific and specialized institutions—governmental, non-governmental, national, and international—aligned with the association’s goals.
• Conduct research and studies on environmental topics and propose innovative solutions.
• Promote comprehensive and sustainable development of the natural and human environment.
• Improve the quality of nature and living spaces for humans.
• Educate about environmental preservation and protection through student media.
• Organize symbolic nature clean-up events with the participation of students and faculty.
• Explore strategies to enhance environmental conditions.
• Promote a culture of nature appreciation among the public in collaboration with relevant institutions.
• Provide opportunities for individuals to acquire awareness, values, attitudes, work ethics, and skills necessary for protecting and improving the environment.
• Foster new behavioral models among students and members of the association in relation to the environment.

Type of Activity:

All activities of the association are non-political and non-profit, fully in accordance with the Constitution and laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The association operates strictly under the guidelines of Pars Institute of Higher Education for Architecture and Art, as outlined in this charter.

Responsibilities:

To fulfill its mission, the association undertakes the following duties:

• Organize meetings, seminars, and educational workshops
• Arrange educational field trips
• Host film screenings
• Create posters, brochures, videos, and more
• Provide general environmental education through various teaching methods
• Offer innovative strategies for incorporating environmental considerations into construction and industrial projects
• Publish newsletters with environmental news, research articles, and more
• Promote responsible consumption patterns and eco-friendly products
• Produce educational materials such as posters, brochures, subtitles for films, and banners
• Identify and report sources of environmental pollution to relevant authorities
• Develop programs to help youth connect with nature and relieve psychological stress
• Establish a virtual library, website, and hold classes, seminars, exhibitions, and workshops
• Conduct research to identify, preserve, restore, and improve key factors contributing to a vibrant environment
• Build a digital information database aligned with the association’s goals
• Define research topics and organize research, educational, and cultural teams
• Create relationships and coordinate with organizations, institutions, and individuals—both governmental and non-governmental—who can help further the association’s objectives
