Literary Association
The Pars Literary Association was founded to enhance student engagement in literary activities, including short story writing, classical and free verse poetry, novel writing, and to organize and support students’ self-motivated literary pursuits. The association operates in accordance with the university’s official bylaws.
Objectives:
- Teaching poetry composition, storytelling, and literary criticism
- Improving the quality and depth of students’ written works and poetry
- Collaborating and consulting with other literary organizations and institutions
- Holding literary commemorations and celebrations
- Providing training in writing and poetic skills
- Cultivating openness to critique and developing resilience to feedback
- Organizing monthly meetings outside of class hours
- Exploring effective strategies for literary expression and education
Type of Activity:
The association serves as a platform for literary education and expression, including poetry recitation, fiction writing, and playwriting, and functions strictly within the framework of the rules and regulations of the Pars Institute of Higher Education in Architecture and Art.
Responsibilities:
In pursuit of its goals, the Literary Association undertakes the following responsibilities:
- Organizing regular meetings, seminars, and training workshops
- Inviting poets and authors to deliver lectures and poetry readings
- Producing posters, brochures, videos, and other promotional materials
- Educating students using diverse teaching methods
- Publishing the Pars Literary Association Journal featuring research articles and creative works
- Conducting extracurricular literary activities for Pars University students
- Officially forming the association with a minimum of fifteen members
- Limiting member activities to fiction, poetry, and playwriting
- Showcasing selected poems and writings in the association’s internal publications
- Teaching literary critique, poetic forms, and literary styles
- Hosting literary commemorations
- Holding meetings every two weeks, with date and time set in the first session
- Establishing a virtual library and website, and organizing classes, exhibitions, seminars, and workshops
