“Indeed, this Qur’an guides to that which is most upright and gives glad tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds, that they will have a great reward.”
(Surah Al-Isra, Verse 9)
Objectives and Programs of the Qur’an Association
We give thanks to God for His boundless blessings—among the greatest of which is the incomparable gift of guidance. He sent us a merciful Prophet and revealed to him His eternal miracle: the Qur’an, as a conclusive proof for all mankind until the Day of Judgment. Everything needed for worldly comfort and eternal salvation was placed within it, so we may walk the straight path and attain His pleasure—and He ours—on the Day we meet Him.
Yet, how unfortunate it is that the busyness of life at times leads us astray, making us lose sight of the light and forget how to distinguish the path from misguidance.
The Qur’an Association of Pars University began its work in Mehr 1393 (Fall 2014) with the goal of creating a space for cultural activities that foster deeper familiarity and connection with the Holy Qur’an. Formed through the collaboration of university students, the association operates based on the participation of interested individuals and has planned and implemented a variety of programs centered on religious and Qur’anic topics.
One of the core activities of this association is the regular Qur’an sessions, which are held periodically at the university with the dedication of its members. The primary aim of these gatherings is to provide even a brief moment for understanding and reflection on the meanings and messages of the Qur’an. These sessions are designed to be accessible to everyone, regardless of their level of familiarity with the Qur’an, and all students and faculty are warmly invited to attend. The dates and times of the sessions are announced monthly through the university website and posted notices.
Some of the other upcoming activities planned by the association include:
- Organizing exhibitions featuring religious books and digital products related to Islamic and Qur’anic topics
- Hosting Qur’an recitation and memorization competitions and book reading contests
- Offering basic Tajweed (recitation rules) classes in an easy-to-understand format
- And other programs inspired by student suggestions and involvement
We hope that with the enthusiastic participation of interested students and through creative programming, we can achieve greater success in this meaningful endeavor and stay true to the path of divine guidance.
Those who are interested in helping organize the association’s various activities or who have ideas for new programs in related areas are kindly encouraged to share their thoughts with the association coordinator via the email address below.
