About
Art Research is one of the fields in the arts group at the master’s level. Students interested in the theoretical aspects of art, by studying this major, delve into topics such as art criticism, the views of thinkers about art, comparative art studies, and similar subjects, thereby strengthening their analytical and critical abilities in related theories. Students in this field become familiar with criticism and theorizing in the realm of art and are trained and prepared for activities in publications, media, gallery management, organizing exhibitions, and also teaching at university levels. Additionally, students learn the basics of scientific writing, principles of article writing and thesis writing, and research methods during this course, enabling them to strengthen the connection between art and other scientific disciplines through interdisciplinary research.
