This field deals with sustainable development dimensions of the country and issues related to improving the quality of projects and preserving national assets, including all projects across the country such as residential complexes, administrative and commercial complexes, hospitals, airports, industrial complexes, infrastructure, and many other projects.

Objectives of the Field The aim of this field is to empower specialists to manage civil projects and optimize project management to achieve their goals, enhance productivity and quality levels, and complete projects within the specified time and budget, implementing scientific methods in line with international and national standards. One of the important goals of this field is to address management challenges at all project levels, including financial issues, scheduling, resource allocation and leveling, considering risks, and guiding projects to ensure the satisfaction of all stakeholders. Engineering and construction management can be implemented in all projects of the public sector, public institutions, and the private sector.

About the Field

Skill Areas Graduates of this field, by familiarizing themselves with the principles and foundations of engineering and construction management and appropriate and correct methods of managing various projects, as well as acquiring the necessary skills regarding the subsystems of engineering and construction management in projects, will be able to scientifically implement the engineering and project management processes, including ten subsystems according to relevant standards, in various types of projects and provide higher quality and more sustainable outcomes.

Job Opportunities Graduates of this field, in addition to providing engineering and construction management services in the form of management consulting or independent contracting services in the private sector and in various projects, can collaborate with all government agencies and public institutions responsible for planning and executing projects, including infrastructure and other areas.
