Celebration Ceremony Honoring Veteran Professors of Iran and Pars University; In Recognition of 40 Years of Successful Service in Higher Education

A ceremony honoring ten distinguished professors, titled “Four Decades of Effort in Nurturing the Children of Pars,” was held at the Pars University conference hall.

According to the public relations office of Pars University of Architecture and Art, this grand event took place on Wednesday, March 5th, to pay tribute to ten prominent professors in the country.

The ceremony provided a valuable opportunity to honor these esteemed educators:

During the ceremony, Professor Mahmoud Golabchi, founder of Pars University, spoke about the noble status and unparalleled role of professors in nurturing the youth of Iran. He expressed pride in having among its ranks luminaries who have devoted over four decades to elevating the knowledge, art, and culture of this land.

He emphasized that the ceremony serves as an occasion to express gratitude to those professors who have dedicated their lives to illuminating the path for Iran’s youth. “These esteemed professors do more than teach; they shape the character and future of their students,” he noted.

Referring to the high status of knowledge in religious and cultural teachings, Professor Golabchi stated, “The Holy Qur’an places knowledge on par with faith and promises elevation for those who pursue learning. This is the greatest responsibility a person can undertake in this world.”

He added that the ceremony serves as a reminder of the vital role professors play in the growth and development of the country, emphasizing that Pars University, as a pioneer in higher education, always prioritizes appreciation for the wisdom and intellectual contributions of its faculty.

At the end of his remarks, Professor Golabchi wished good health and continued success to all professors at Pars University, expressing hope that Iran would one day shine at the pinnacle of global science and art—a goal achievable through the efforts of the nation’s great minds and future generations.

In another part of the ceremony, a collection of videos introducing these distinguished professors was screened. Crafted with artistic sensitivity, these videos highlighted the achievements and prominent roles of each professor in advancing the nation’s academic and cultural landscape.

One of the most touching segments featured heartfelt testimonials from Pars University students about their professors. In these segments, students shared personal memories and the lasting influence these professors have had on their lives, expressing deep gratitude and admiration.

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of certificates of appreciation and commemorative gifts to the honored professors, in the presence of the university’s founder, fellow faculty members, and students.

This celebration once again highlighted the exalted position of professors and the vital importance of their role in shaping future generations.
