The goal of this field is to empower specialists to manage civil projects and optimize project management to achieve their objectives, enhance productivity and quality levels, complete projects on time within the designated budget, and implement scientific methods in accordance with international and national standards. Another important objective of this field is to address management challenges at all levels of projects, including financial issues, scheduling, resource allocation and leveling, considering risks, and guiding projects towards satisfying all stakeholders. Project and construction management can be implemented in all projects in the public sector, public institutions, and the private sector.

Graduates of this field, by familiarizing themselves with the principles and foundations of project and construction management and appropriate and correct methods of managing various projects, as well as acquiring the necessary skills regarding project management subsystems, will be able to scientifically implement project management processes, including ten subsystems according to relevant standards, in various types of projects and contribute to improving their quality and sustainability.
