Master’s Degree in Strengthening  Historical Buildings

Pars University, with nearly a decade of successful education in various master’s degree programs related to building and architecture, including “Architectural Technology” and “Restoration of Historical Buildings,” has received approval from the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology to launch a new focus on strengthening historical buildings within the Architectural Technology program.

Given Iran’s glorious architectural history and proud heritage, preserving the country’s valuable cultural heritage and passing it on to future generations is essential. This program provides an opportunity for architects, engineers, and specialists to protect these precious heritages by maintaining their strength and stability. The program is one of the most practical master’s degrees in the country, offering the necessary education to maintain the sustainability and strength of historical buildings through specialized courses and the use of advanced software and execution techniques, with the presence of the country’s most prominent professors.

This program balances the “technical” and “cultural” aspects of valuable architectural phenomena, aiming to educate senior engineers who are familiar with both modern architectural technologies and the principles of protecting architectural heritage. One of the main objectives is to enable students to prepare plans for stabilizing and modernizing structures and environments within historical contexts.

Pars University’s Architecture and Art faculty, with a successful background in large-scale heritage conservation projects in Iran and in collaboration with top universities worldwide, aims to train skilled individuals who can contribute to national heritage protection while introducing Iranian specialists globally.
