About
Painting is one of the oldest visual arts disciplines in Iran. Entry into this field is closely related to individual taste and interest in this art, which should be chosen based on personal emotional capabilities. Being creative and idea-driven is essential for entering this discipline. Unlike graphic communication (graphic design), painting is created once and is not dependent on client orders or opinions, nor does it serve advertising purposes. The sublime spirit of the artist can emerge and display without concerns, allowing the audience to connect with the work.
Painting, considered one of the main branches of visual arts, is an art intertwined with the human soul and spirit, originating from within. Through painting, another form of communication can be established. Emotions, excitements, desires, and perspectives towards anything or anyone can be expressed uniquely, perhaps in ways that language cannot convey. To create artworks with a broader perspective, it is important to understand colors well and learn different painting styles correctly. Academic courses open valuable pathways for enthusiasts of this art. Painting is among the artistic jobs that can exist completely independently, in collaboration with private and governmental organizations, or as an interdisciplinary medium. A painter, depending on their qualifications, skills, or a valid degree in this field, can teach painting in their own studio or in a public space.
Skill Areas Design and painting workshops from level 1 to 7 are offered in this course. Students become familiar with all styles and techniques of this field, and in addition, they acquire the necessary skills in art restoration, mural painting, Iranian painting, artwork analysis, and digital painting.
Job Fields A significant concern for those interested in this field is knowledge about the job market both domestically and internationally. Depending on their skill, experience, style of painting, and creativity, a painter can carve out a good career path for themselves. Teaching art at universities or institutes, organizing exhibitions for selling artworks, or taking commissions for paintings can lead to good income.
Professional Desirability This profession does not have time constraints like many others; it also provides emotional satisfaction and mental peace. It allows living in calm non-urban environments and establishing visual communication with audiences, which are considered desirable aspects of this job.
