A specialized seminar featuring Mr. Reza Oylum, a researcher of Iranian cinema and a faculty member at the Faculty of Cinema and Television at Uskudar University in Istanbul, was held at the Pars University conference hall.
According to the Public Relations Office of Pars University of Architecture and Art, the seminar took place on November 20 and was attended by students and cinema enthusiasts.
During the session, Mr. Oylum shared his experiences in film research and education, analyzing various dimensions of Iranian
cinema. He also presented statistical data on the status of the film industry in Turkey and Iran, elaborating on Iranian cinema’s role in international cultural exchange and its influence on global cinema through style, narrative, and themes.
At the end of the session, participants asked questions regarding how to enter the professional film industry, participate in student film festivals, and apply for admission to Turkish universities.
